Adv. Nandan Jha is the founder and Secretary-General, Gandhi-Mandela Foundation and Chairman of Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), a Govt. of India recognized 80G, 12A, 8A compliant, not-for-profit company.

He initiated the Gandhi-Mandela Award, a prestigious International award, for promoting Gandhi and Nelson Mandela’s values of peace, non-violence, community service and social development across the globe

Adv. Jha is also the organizer and founder of the ‘Champions of Change’ award, an Indian national award, for promoting values of Swachhta, Community Service and Social Development. In
the previous years, the awards have been given away or presented by the Hon’ble President of India, Vice-President of India as the chief guests. The awardees include Bharat Ratnas, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, Padma Vibhushans, Padma Bhushans, Padma Shris and other eminent personalities who bring about changes in the society. Adv. Jha is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of ‘Power Corridors’, a monthly news magazine and ‘Panchayati Times’, a prestigious digital news portal.

At the age of 17, Adv. Nandan Jha was conferred with the National Bravery Award by the then Hon’ble President of India Shri K R Narayanan and Jeevan Raksha Padak by the then Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri I K Gujral
